​Section 604(b) Water Quality Management

The Truman Lab will receive funding through the Section 604(b) Water Quality Management grant to purchase essential equipment and hire a dedicated Lab Technician. This support will strengthen the lab's water quality monitoring and management efforts, ultimately contributing to healthier ecosystems and communities. By enhancing monitoring capabilities, the lab can play a more significant role in protecting water resources and supporting environmental sustainability in the region.

Southwest City Drinking Water Project

​Southwest City is upgrading its water system with CDBG and USDA funds to improve safety, reduce water loss, and replace aging infrastructure.

Neosho Recycling Center Grant

The City of Neosho has been awarded a $112,000 grant from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to support improvements at the Neosho Recycling Center. This funding will help enhance recycling operations, expand capacity, and increase efficiency in processing recyclable materials. The project reflects the City’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility, providing residents with improved access to recycling services and promoting long-term waste reduction efforts.

Village of Stella Water Improvement Project

The Village of Stella is using ARPA funds to upgrade its deteriorating 1960s water system, reducing water loss and improving pressure, quality, and reliability for its 71 customers.
