Carterville Generator Project
The City of Carterville has been awarded a grant from the Missouri State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) to purchase and install a generator for one of its water wells. This generator will ensure continued operation of the well, helping maintain access to clean, safe water for residents. The project strengthens the city’s overall resilience and emergency preparedness by protecting a critical piece of its water infrastructure.
Assistance to Firefighters Grant- Anderson Fire Department
The Anderson Fire Department has received funding through a grant designed to enhance its capabilities by purchasing essential firefighting equipment and providing training opportunities. This grant aims to improve the department's readiness and ensure the safety of both firefighters and the community they serve. With these new resources, the Anderson Fire Department will be better equipped to handle emergencies and protect lives and property effectively.
